High Power Rectifiers
High Power Rectifiers, Transient Surge Suppressors, Single and Three Phase Bridges, as well as other types of High Power Units are available through PD&E. These discrete high power rectifiers and high power modules can be designed for a variety of applications. Output currents of 150 amperes and output voltages as high as 40,000 volts with peak surge currents of 5000 amperes are offered from this product class. Parts are designed to withstand severe operating environments and may be supplied utilizing military or commercial components. These high power units have a unique packaging design, which provides characteristics not obtainable in standard molded epoxy packages. Our discrete units are typically hermetically sealed and use glass-passivated silicon rectifiers in their construction. The combination of low thermal resistance and highly conductive materials make these high power units extremely effective, even in the worst conditions. Every unit can be made to meet commercial, military, or custom specifications.
